Robert Loynds serves as the Director of Projects at Smart Building Technologies (SmartBT), where he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Tasked with leading a team of project managers, Robert ensures the seamless execution and financial success of both new construction and service-based projects. With his operational oversight, Robert sees that projects are delivered efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality, contributing to SmartBT’s reputation as a leader in the industry.

Prior to joining SmartBT, Robert held several key positions in reputable companies, including Schneider Electric Critical Systems and Schneider Electric Mid Atlantic, where he served as Engineering Manager and Sales Manager. His tenure at Y.E.M. Corporation as Operations Manager further solidified his foundation in project management and operational excellence. Through these experiences, Robert gained invaluable insights and skills that now inform his leadership at SmartBT.

Robert is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has also obtained a series of certifications and licensures, including Certified Project Management Associate and Tridium Niagara AX Framework Certification. With his commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Robert ensures that SmartBT remains at the forefront of innovation and excellence.
