The District Center transformation was the winner of Distech Control’s “Unified Project of the Year” in 2019. This award is given to the commercial building project which “best leverages connected lighting technology and intelligent building solutions.” Additionally, District Center is a LEED Gold EB certified, which means that the building maximizes energy efficiency while lowering operating costs.

The District Center was retrofitted with IP-based infrastructure by Smart Building Technologies using Distech Controls building management technology resulting in an Energy Star efficiency score in the high 80s.
